The Annual Conclave of the Knights of York Cross of Honour was opened at 1:00 PM by Eminent Prior, Eugene Alexander, on April 16, 2005 at the Walla Walla Masonic Center in due form.

Knights Harry Houston and Clifford Roberson were absent.

Regular business was suspended and Knights William Short, J. Scott Archer, John A. Purcell, R. Dale Fluaitt, Paul Merighi and Lynn L. Bailey were received into the order.

Introductions of distinguished members: REC R. Dale Fluaitt, Dep. Grand High Priest, Grand Chapter of RAM; RIC Robert Steel, Grand PCW, and RIC Forrest Ryan, Grand Recorder of the Grand Council of RSM; Glenn A. Siron, NW Dept. Commander, Grand Encampment USA, KT.

Minutes of the previous meeting, January 26, 2005, were read and approved. Bills presented were Dinner, $320 including rent.

Memorials were held for late members Wallace Reyberg, George Carlyle, Bob Milkin and ME Albert Carney. Sickness and distress: Knights Bill Nelson and Vic Slough, knee problems; Preston Stedman and Doug Johnson, cancer; Doug Eldridge under the weather; Herb Miller’s wife and Bill Zuger’s wife having surgical problems.

Financial report: approximately $30,000.00 in the checking account and yet to be invested. Knight Glenn Siron moved to donate #1500.00 to the Medical Research Foundation, INC. which is our major philanthropy. Seconded by Ward Koberly and the motion carried.

Eminent Prior Eugene Alexander presented Knight Harold Rothgeb with his certificate for the KYGCH with one quadrant. The Em. Prior presented the current officers with a KYCH key fob as a token of his of his appreciation for their work.

Election of officers: Ron Dingle moved to advance the officer present to the next highest station, skipping those who were not present. The motion was seconded and passed. The offices of Orator, Herald and Sentinel were then filled by election and secret ballot.

The next conclaves will be in Ellensburg, WA on January 21, 2006 (Changed by order of Em. Prior, Tom Seymour to Jan. 28^th ) for the balloting of candidates and in Montesano on April 16, 2006 for the Annual Conclave.

Installation of Officers: Eugene Alexander, Installing Officer, Bill Brewer, Installing Marshal and Ron Dingle Installing Prelate.
