The Annual Priory of the Evergreen
State Priory #41, Knights of York Cross of Honour was opened at 1:00 PM by
Eminent Prior, Glenn A. Siron, on April 14, 2007 at the Walla Walla Masonic
Center in due form.

Regular business was suspended
and Knights Warren Lee, Al Luberts and Anthony Schlee were received into the
order. Lectures were given by Knights Harry Houston, Blue Lodge; James Stephens,
Chapter; Bryan Bechler, Council and Ward Koeberle, Commandery; Lewis Peck,
Jewel; William Scott, Crown and knighting by Glenn Siron, Em. Prior.
Introductions of distinguished
members:
Three PGHPs
of RAM: J. Stephens, R. Truesdale and D. Beck. James Stephens was introduced as
the Ambassador to General Grand Chapter International.
Grand Elected Line Officers of
the Grand Council R&SM: R Steele, Glenn Wilson, Brian Bechler and Floyd
Snyder and three Past Grand Illustrious Masters: J. Hardin, J. R. Yingling and
E. Alexander.
J. Robert Yingling was
introduced as the Ambassador to General Grand Cryptic Masons International
Grand Commandery Officers of
WA: J. Stephens and E. Alexander and
three REPGCs: L. Peck and H. Houston, and Rudy Engle,
REPGC of Oregon. REPGC Glenn Siron was introduced as the Past NW Department
Commander.
Deputy Grand Governor of WA,
John Hardin and Intendant General of WA, RCC: Harry Houston.
J. Hardin and E. Alexander
were introduced as Past Priors of Evergreen State Priory #41.
Eminent Dalvin Hollaway,
District Representative, District #24,
who was representing the Convent General, Most Eminent
Luther Hill, Sr., Grand Master General, was escorted to the East, introduced
and given Public Grand Honors of Masonry.
A motion to approve the
minutes of the past Conclaves was made, seconded and approved as published and
available on the web page at http://gander1.dyndns.org/kych
.
The audit committee reported
that the books of the Registrar were satisfactory and in order.
A petition for dual membership
from Herb Weaver, a member of Ohio #18, was read. Knight Weaver was elected as
a dual member in this Priory. Congratulations, Herb.
Old Business: A resolution to
amend section 7 of the Priory’s Bylaws, eliminating the need for two signatures
on checks, was presented at the January
Conclave published and sent to all members, was entertained and adopted. A copy
of the bylaws is attached to these minutes.
New Business: A motion was
made to send $500.00 to Medical research was made, seconded and passed. A
motion to donate $200.00 to the Washington Masonic Alliance was made, seconded
and passed.
Knight Lewis Peck moved to
advance all elected officers of the Prior one station with the exception of the
registrar and to re-elect the Registrar was seconded and passed.
Nominations for Sentinel were
made upon the letters of availability received by the Registrar. Knight Don
Beck was elected to the position of Sentinel
by secret ballot. Congratulation Knight Don!
Knight Hollaway was again
introduced and shared personal greeting form Grand Master General, M. E. Luther
Hill, Sr. The next Convent General will be September 5th
through the 8th in Nashville. He also asked that copies of the
amended bylaws be sent to him and the Convent General.
The next Conclave will be in Ellensburg on January 19,
2008; the annual time and place to be announced, but probably in Ellensburg on
April 12, 2008.
Eminent Prior Glenn Siron then
closed the Priory in preparation for the installation of new Officers.
