Stated Conclave on January 20, 2007 at the Ellensburg
Masonic Center
Eminent prior Glenn A. Siron
opened the Priory in due form at 1:00 PM.
Introductions: All Knights
who were seated Masters, High Priest, Illustrious Masters or Commanders were
introduced and given appropriate honors. All Knights in the Grand Lines of
Masonry or Appendant Bodies were likewise introduced and given appropriate
honors.
Business: A motion to waive a
reading of the minutes was seconded and passed as the minutes have been published
and mailed to all Knights and are also available on the KYCH website.
Financial: The treasurer’s
report was approved as read. Bills approved to be paid were Rent: $25.00 and
cost of copy and postage: $34.50.
Proposals for knighthood were
read and five brethren who had exemplified service were elected to join our
order:
Brothers
Anthony Schlee, Steve Kazda, John James, Al Luberts and Warren Lee.
The Annual Conclave has been
set for April 14th, 2007 at the Walla Walla
Masonic Center, 607 E. Main St., Walla Walla, WA
99362 with a luncheon at 12:00 noon and the Priory commencing at 1:00 PM.
A Motion for the Priory to
pay for each Knight’s lunch was introduced, seconded and passed with the
stipulation that reservations must be made with the Registrar prior to April
5, 2007, or the cost of lunch ($15.00) will be at the door.
A motion to change a portion
of section seven of the Bylaws was presented, moved, seconded and laid over
until the Annual conclave, so that all knights may be advised of the motion and
changes presented.
The motion is attached.
Knights noted to rest in the
hands of the Supreme Architect were Leon Wise, Don Herda and Ron Ferguson.
Knight Forrest Ryan asked to
donate a Bible to the Priory of Wyoming in the name of Evergreen State Priory.
A motion was made, seconded and passed with our blessing.
Knights who are available for
sentinel in the Priory’s
officers line are:
Don Beck,
J. Robert Yingling, Harold Rothgeb and Anthony Schwab.
The Registrar gave each line
officer a copy of the complete work of the Priory with the corrected changes
made. Induction of candidates will be the first order of business after opening
the Priory in April.

Whereas the present
bylaws of Evergreen State Priory #41 read as follows:
Section 7: The Eminent Prior,
at the time of his installation, shall appoint a Finance Committee of three (3)
members whose duties shall be to examine and audit the books of the Registrar
and report at the Annual Conclave. The Eminent Prior shall also appoint a
Financial Signing Committee of Four (4) consisting of the Registrar and three
(3) members, (Eminent may appoint himself) any two of which may meet the
required two (2) signatures on all Financial transactions of the Priory. A copy
of each shall be received by the Prior within thirty (30) days.
And
Whereas: the banks
do not honor a second signature; and
Whereas: the second
signature is for internal use only; and
Whereas: having
pre-signed checks is un-necessarily risky; and
Whereas: getting a
second signature on a check is an undue burden to the Registrar;
Therefore, be it
resolved that a portion of section seven of the Evergreen State Priory #41
Bylaws be changed to read:
Section 7: The Eminent Prior,
